Here's some more information on the River of Fire Damascus created by Bill Burke.

And Here's a Utility Knife with Mokume Gane and Walrus Ivory that Bill Burke made with his Damascus called Firestorm.

Thanks for posting those beautiful knives! That Firestorm is something to see, also.

Oh yes, they sure do! ;) :) Great pics of my new friends. Pretty cool to have the double lug on that large, too. They all seem pretty happy here. :D

Here's a few pics of the large that you might remember. :)

After studying this thread for the past two months, I'm glad to be able to contribute to it. I had the great fortune this week of accepting delivery of two river of fire Sebenzas, one large and one small. Of course the hunt for a matching Mnandi is now on!

Before I post the pics, I wanted to give special thanks to Lone_Wolfe, who at this point probably knows more about river of fire CRKs than Bill Burke and Chris Reeve combined. She graciously and patiently answered my questions and gave me good advice while I hunted for the large. I'd never before had any contact with her, but she went out of her way to give me a hand, and I deeply appreciate it. Thank you, LW.

    Now on to the pics!

LW, thank you again. And yes, the river flows both ways! That was a happy coincidence.

    You're more than welcome!

But I don't know THAT much about them!

In some downtime I gathered a few more pics from the internet that I'm going to share.

This first is one that passed through AZCK. I'd love to see this one on my table!

Thanks! For that amount of applause I feel like I should have an encore -- but I'm all tapped out.

Here's some pics of my small ROF. I've had this one for a bit, but the other photos don't do it justice.
