Have you ever heard of Duluth Trading Company?

I have, all I saw on the webpage was Chinese made stuff, so they have local made knives I missed?

There's also places like Menard's or Walmart too. Nothing high end really, but they sell the typical stuff like Kershaw, Buck, Chinese made Spydercos, etc...

Ya I searched spydercos store finder and saw nothing. Wasn't sure if I might be missing a nice local shop I could spend my money at

Would be looking for a nice non assisted folder. In the $150 range. If anyone knows a local spot that would be awesome, otherwise I would just grab a.benchmade from dicks

I've had good luck at bass proshop when it comes to knife variety in store

Aerostich.

World class resource for motorcycle riding gear and touring and camping accessories. They have some knives, not what you or I would consider a comprehensive array, but nevertheless an interesting selection, put together by non-knife-knuts.

The factory and store in the west end of Duluth is a destination and fascinating stop for motorcyclists, and probably quite interesting for non-riders. You just might find a knife there that meets your needs.

If you want to buy something made in Duluth, forget the knife, buy a Cirrus. They'll probably throw any knife you want into the sale. :D Though they are just a wee bit out of my budget these days.

Hell, I'd pick up that Nora Firestarter if I really just had to get something. Nice knife for a get home bag or bugout.
