Where to buy factory QC rejects/parts?

My first thought was that knife companies might destroy factory mistakes. But if they don't, where do they go and where can I buy perfectly serviceable knives with surface and cosmetic blemishes?
 
It all depends upon the company. Some have factory stores, special sales or a special place on the internet. Most mark them in some way and the warranties are either non-existent or very limited.
 
Kershawguy is a great source for Kershaw /ZT blems on this forum and he is a great guy to deal with !
 
Spyderco, Kershaw, and Cold Steel have factory "2nds sales" about once a year. For best results you need to be there in person as they don't do internet sales on these items.
