I'm looking to buy my first "real" katana and I'm pretty set on a Hanwei. I love Damascus steel so I'm leaning towards a folded steel offering. I'm up to ideas on the various models and good places to buy online. I have OCD when it comes to fine blades so keep that in mind.
This will be a wall hanger at first but I want to study Tameshigiri eventually.
Those of you who know me from my other forums know how outside my realm this is for me, which is why I am visiting it.
