I am trying to buy a few spydercos. Does anyone know where to find these besides the internet, or fly to BHQ in Utah? Anywhere i go that actually has them its only 2 or 3 old models that not alot of people like or want. Where are all the delicas, manix 2's, sages, and list goes on and on. So far i happened to come across a single tenacious at walmart for a great price. I live in LA so why is it so hard to find these knives?!

The Supply Sargent and I believe Most Dicks Sporting Goods. Most retailers I've seen with Spyderco sell at MSRP, soooooooooooo internet for me.

Can I ask approximately where you live in LA? There are many knife stores around here so I could point you to the closest one that has what you want.

In the meantime, check out this map I made: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...outhern-California-Knife-Stores-and-Companies

Recon 1, Plaza Cutlery come to mind first. However Plaza is south OC

I thought I'd share this map I threw together that shows the knife stores/companies I know of in the Los Angeles/Orange County area: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1eG2z3y0WRC9Yz3HYmK7UaPhs2JI

The majority of these places I've been to and can vouch for (see the descriptions by clicking individual pins).

Please let me know if there's anything else that would be worth adding to the list! I don't have a lot of experiences with places out in Riverside County, down in San Diego County, or north of LA County.

That's a great Google Maps link you created. Thank you.

West San fernando valley. I can find places that carry spyderco but it always a couple older models with sabor grinds and SS or blk handles. I want to buy a FFG delica with colored handle, a manix 2 translucent blue. Nobody I talk to has ever heard of these! Ricon 1 and many other places i called have stopped carrying spyderco.

I did not know Recon 1 stopped carrying Spydercos; that's sad, because they had such a great selection. If I were you I'd check out the map I referred to above (and which RamZar was kind enough to link directly to) and call up the stores near you. I haven't been to Tactical Pro Shop, but their website indicates they have a lot of Spydercos. Ross Cutlery in downtown LA has a bunch of Spydercos, I can tell you that. Advance Cutlery in Arcadia has none. Martin B. Redding in Culver City never has more than a few (but they've had some interesting discontinued ones pass through). Then there's that Army Surplus store out in Simi Valley that someone here recommended; not sure what they have.
