I'm wanting a GB SFA or Wetterlings large hunters axe. I know are they both are excellent but I have only held the SFA and I'd really like to fondle the Wetterlings before I buy. Price isn't an issue as I have saved up for the SFA.

(Also Ray Mears uses the SFA which is cool)

if you have the money i would go for an sfa but i know wholesale sports had them in calgary before christmas and there is one in naniamo

Hm, I don't want to take the ferry over to the island and Kamloops this time of year :barf: SFA it is.

it would also be cheaper to go with the sfa than to take the ferry or drive to the loops

there is a little garden supply shop in cloverdale that can order you a husqvarna limbing axe for around 60 or 70$, these are made by wetterlings and are no dif in quality.

same axe as gransfors for half the price.

Husqvarna Canada has a store in Burnaby. I will go there tomorrow morning and test it out.

Wanstalls in Maple Ridge had a couple in stock when I was there before Christmas. I believe Lee Valley in Coquitlam also has them
