Good evening everyone. I was out doing my pre heat treat QC check list on these little ones and was rounding the spine and finger groove areas so they are comfortable. Then I realized I wasn't sure where the handles should end at the front, which would impact that part. I have rarely made any pieces this small before. They are 1" wide and the longer are 8" OAL. I've marked a couple of choices but thought I'd ask for the great advice here as always. The farther back one is probably out of contention but I'd be interested to hear your thoughts please. Thanks in advance.

Normally I'd say the forward most line(towards the plunge), but I was recently sketching some knives and plan on finishing a couple of handles near the finger choil. Just be sure to thin and conture the handle enough to make for a comfortable transition. Also agree that the plunge must be moved back if you go with the shorter handle length.
