Looking for something for different layers of my kits. I really only need 4. Anyone have 4 extra that they want to send me? Or where can I buy them?

Hum, searching, not a bad idea! My frustration with the search has conditioned me to not use it. Thanks

I'll second Outdoor Safe. Very good survival advice based on your basic needs.

Just an interesting point. One of the other instructors I work with is a skydiver. At altitude, he says the best color that stands out better than orange is blue like the color most tarps are. I guess nothing in nature is that blue in that large of a concetrated color and size. Fall foliage in New England might get orange but you don't see too much concentrated blue. Bob says a small tarp will stand out very clearly and even better than orange. Makes sense to me.

It may be too late to find them, but I use those giant "jack-o-lantern" bags that you fill with leaves. They are larger than trash bags, individually wrapped.

If you aren't wedded to the color orange, you might try the nice red biohazard bags that can be either bought online or liberated from a hospital (if you happen to work in one or know someone who does). Get the extra large version - they are very tough.
