where to find mammoth ivory scales

ive searched around and i found a few places but some of the prices vary so much. Some pieces on one site look similar to another but the price difference is $60-$80. What do you look for in a mmoth knife scale-before you purcahse it. alot that i have seen have a tiny amount of the mineralized colored top and the rest of it is white--which means i cant really sand it down too much unless i want it all white. Any solid sources that are reasonable in the forum or on some sites. im also looking for wharthog, and Oosik, ram horn material--thanks marekz

Get in touch with Brett Matthews for ivory and oosic. He gets some cool stuff and good prices. I've met him at a few shows and got a piece of mastadon tooth from him. Nice guy.
 
Last mammoth ivory I picked up was at the Tuscon Gem and Mineral show... from the "Russians"
