Hey guys i have a guy wanting a knife made who is dead set on wanting a purple and green handle. For some reason he really likes the look of the layered dymondwood but i have not been able to track down any suppliers that had a green and purple layup. he also wants copper bolsters. His inspiration for the knife is the the Joker from batman and thats there the radical design he is planning as well as the color scheme is coming from i guess. any help on a source for that would be awesome guys. I am trying to talk him into using purple and green dyed burl but may not succeed

I would contact FOD AKA Shadetree Custom Composites. He will most likely be able to fix you up. Alternately, there are plenty of tutorials out there on making your own micarta. I am sure it wouldn't be too overly hard to find purple cloth.

You could laminate your own Pakkawood. It's available in green and purple.
