I hasn't really bothered me. Scibeer sent photos and pointed it out to me -- he said
"I want to let you see what the back of the knife looks like so you know what to expect. The scissors layer leaves a void since the backspring isnt flush with the bottom of the knife. The pins are hand peened so they will have a hand hammered look."
I'm not really sure how much support the hook provides the scissors. Not much torque is usually applied to scissors and I think most of the force would be on the pin. If the pin breaks, it could be re-pinned.
Ha! Thanks! I've done several giveaways and I've never asked for anything in return except to post a review of the multi-tool on Bladeforums. The intention was to promote discussion about Swiss army knives and other multi-tools on Bladeforums.
When websites promote themselves they usually just post links and recruit others to do the same. I know atleast one forum that got its start by contacting people on Bladeforums.
