I know you can get them online. But is there a retail store that carries a decent mora knife? I have alway believed that you get what you pay for, but way too many people have good things to say about these. So I would like to put my hands on one of these knives.

Ragweed Forge has a great selection.

I've never seen one in any kind of store, but a great place to get them online is www.ragweedforge.com scroll down and click on Mora of sweden. He's real fast on the shipping, and has the best prices. Also, look around at what else he's got, 'cause every order is $6 shipping, no matter how much you buy.

P.S. I wouldn't say you are getting a $125 knife, but it sure is the best $10 knife out there and better than a lot of $40-$60 knives.

Another option is Ben's Backwoods...while you're there, take a look at his SAKs, tarps, hammock, canteens, scandi blades, etc...

Never actually ordered from Ragweed, but I heard ONLY good comments.

OK wow that was fast. guess i just pay the money and see what i think. Worst case i can just use it to practice sharpening. Thab=nks

I don't get all the hype about Mora's. I purchased two carbon mora's and the edges folded with minimal use. I wasn't really impressed. That's just my experience though...sounds like others have had better.
