Where to get Japanese handle supplies?

Anyone know where I can get a premade handle and ferrule like the ones on these santokus in the US?

A lot of makers in Japan use this type of handle on kitchen knives -if more than one maker uses it, I assume these are mass produced?

you normaly can buy replacements for the knives, as theyer. hoki,, spelling ,, wood, and dont last long,, i think jap kitchen knife shops would have them , otherwise the makers supply them.. dont think they would cost much
 
I think Hida tool (www.hidatool.com) carries a few spare knife handles - and they're only a few miles away from you (San Pablo and Gilman in Berkeley/Albany, CA). Stop in for some Everett and Jones BBQ on San Pablo and really make me jealous!
