Where to get parts?

I see some people either build or customize their knives. Where are some good places to get parts for customization such as thumb studs, screws, pivots, stand offs, handles, etc. thanks in advance for any help to can send my way.

Depends on the knife. Some like Hinderers lend themselves to customization. Hinderer as has some of the stuff you mentioned on their website.

I get most of mine from Knifekits.com and USAKnifemakersupply.com.

I also get screws, tools, and materials from McMaster.com. Not a knife supply company, but a hardware company with a very large selection of such items.
