Anyone have any idea where to get some pure nickel foil?
Thanks in advance.

Matt,

Sheffields has .030 6 1/4" x 12" $21.95

and .010 6 5/8" x 12" $7.50

Happened to have their catalog sitting here

I have some 1/2" plate, bit too thick eh?

I think MSC has rolls of it. Edit- Yes they do but the thickest I've found there is .010

Where the heck did you get 1/2" nickel plate Dan? And, what do you do with it?

BTW, I got the piece of laminate steel you sent over. Looking good! THANKS!!!

It came from a copper mill. They used it for some of their special alloys; normally they used nickle pellets but I guess they used some plate at one point in time. I haven't done anything with it yet in the past two years. I'm glad to hear it arrived bud!

Also I did the math and MSC has 50 foot rolls of .010"x6" nickle for $13 per pound. They don't have the alloy number listed though.
