Hello again.
Anyone know where to find guards, pommels, tacks or scabbard mountings for the standard modern styles of dirks and sgian dubhs?
Right now the only idea I have is to make little oval guards with soldered flanges, fabricate the scabbard parts from sheet, maybe add short nickel-plated escutcheon pins, and an unshaped cylindrical pommel for the dirk. But this would turn out pretty plain; if possible I'd prefer something fancier and more professional-looking.
