I have to make a trip to New Orleans in a couple of weeks. I'll be there for ten days and was wondering if there are any good knife shops there?

If any of you live there maybe you have a favorite place to shop for blades?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
 
Alpine Clocks & Jewelers
They are actually in Metairie.
1901 Veterns Memorial Blvd.
They have added a rather extensive collection of knives to their other products
(besides aren't most knives jewelery??)

Yep, Alpine is the place for knives in the New Orleans area. Very good selection and good prices for a retail store. They deserve to be patronized.
