Where to "out source"

Bruce,
Another consideration is to get the material hardened and tempered and then have it water jet cut.

Just curious as to what the inlay is?
Is it sterling silver?
How big?
Do you have one already that a rubber mold could be made out of?

Might be able to help or find someone who can.

Kit, my experience with water cutting is the holes will need to be reamed. If the steel is hardened first I cant ream the holes.

Bryan, the inlay is sterling silver but it will be easier to have them laser cut with the other parts. What do You have in mind? I may need to have the bolsters cast?

I have a friend with 30+ years jewelry exp that is usually slow this time of year. I have no idea what he would charge. Cheaper if he didn't have to make the orig. He's not set up for large runs, so he'd be using a cent. casting machine and doing maybe 4-6 pieces at a time. I can ask if he's interested. He's Vietnamese and one hell of a jeweler.
