I have a couple of knives that I would like to remove the pocket clips from and they have tiny tiny star drive screws on them. Where do I get the tools to remove them?

Just go to the hardware store and look for a "Torx" screwdrivver set. Often you can find one that has sizes down to T-4 which is pretty darn small.

If they are ordinary Torx heads, Wiha is my favourite for minature screwdrivers.
But loads of other companies make quality tools.
I bought mine well before internet, so I expect the source nowdays is Amazon.

Be careful working on these tiny screws. They often have threadlocker applied.

Wiha makes a set of drivers that goes from #1 to #8. The smallest pocket clip screws that I have run into (#0X80TPI) use the #3 driver. I have never seen a pocket clip screw that uses a driver larger than #8.

I bought a set of torx bits to fit a 1/4 inch ratchet at auto zone.

The ones i bought have the hole in the center as well, I think they were about 20 bucks.

Knifekits and the other knife suppliers sell a nice driver that stores the bits in the handle.

Re the thread locker.

Heat the screw head with a soldering iron to release it.

T5 to T10 should do most of your stuff

I think Kershaw forgot to use threadlocker on my OSO Sweet as the clip is loose after only two weeks use.
