where to.........

I've used Georgia Arms for just about all of my ammo over the past 3 years. Never had a problem with them or their ammo.

Thanks alot guys, I usually by my plinking ammo(winchester white) from Wal-mart but I cant seem to get lucky and find any in stock anymore. Last time I did I bought my limit(6 boxes) and took them to the truck and come back in and did it again. I am down to my last 200 rnds and need to get some more. I have bought from ammotogo 1 time and was happy with the service but there stock is very limited now as is everyone else's I suppose.

Again, I thank you all who replied and thanks for the heads up on Cheaper than dirt-bags.

Hey if you have a sports authority around you, every time I've gone in the one around my house they seem to have all kinds of ammo. I guess alot of gun enthusiasts don't frequent this store.

cabellas.com has some good deals... But you have to be patient.

+1

I buy bulk .22lr, 38 sp & .357 mag from them and am always happy - plus they give you free dry storage boxes :D

They have been running a $20 off your order for the past few weeks - I think it ends tomorrow...

I've had good luck with aimsurplus and dansammo. Have read plenty of positive reports about ammoman and palmettostate.

I absolutely 100% refuse to buy anything from cheaperthandirt anymore. After Obama got elected they shot their prices up by 500%, very literally. I'm talking on election night, the price gouging was INSANE. They then jacked up the "retail" cost by HUGE margins (which is illegal) and listed ridiculous things like "50% savings". What's funny is, they screwed up when they first jacked up their prices and didn't change the "savings" equation. So it said something like, "savings, -51%". LOL at - 51% savings.

Now their prices have normalized, but I'll never buy a thing from them again. That's just my opinion on it though.

I'm with you on this one. Magpuls were something like $40. Somewhere, I have a screen capture I snagged of just what you're talking about.

Folks will defend them on the basis of supply/demand, but the pricing was all about taking advantage of fears.

Ah... found it. Check out the crossed-out "List Price" of Magpuls. Yeah, right. Whose list price? Certainly not Magpul's.

^^^^^
BTW, for those who don't know, a fair price on that magazine is $12 to $15.

What's funny is, Magpul openly stated that their list price was NO WHERE near that, yet CTD kept it up.

Unless we are talking about a year ago when they were going for that list price and nobody could find them.

I bought over 100 pmags before the whole election fiasco, after the election, they were rare, but they were still showing up now and then. Bravo company would have them in stock, AIM surplus etc.. All at normal prices. CTD ran away with it and started charging obscene prices.

You could get 'em if you were patient. I bought about 30 Magpuls during the nuttiness from aimsurplus. Around $14 each and penny shipping. I had to wait a bit for them to fill the backorder, but the mags all came within 2 to 3 weeks. This was one shipment.

Edited to add:

While we're on the subject, kudos to Magpul AND C-Products for not jacking up their prices during the scare. Both will continue to get my business as a result.
