If you got stranded anywhere in the world...where would it be? Which region would be the easiest to survive with it's resources, temp, etc?

Southeastern Kentucky is a cinch. You'd have to be a retard to not be able to survive out here.

Of course...most Americans ARE retards these days, so....

There's a choice? Well, OK if I were able to choose I would choose to be stranded in Argentina, probably in the north away from Buenos Aires. Nice weather, good food, culture is different but not totally different, people are friendly, crime rate is lower than many other places with similar climate and features. Good music, tasty barbeque, tropical warmth, comfortable attitudes with knives, horses and cattle...yup that would be OK. Is this a SHTF scenario or just a "What if I was stuck there for a year?" deal?

Hugh Hefner's mansion would be my first pick

:)

Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee would be my second

I'd like to get stranded at home. I think it'd be the easiest one to survive in.

Stranded anywhere we choose? I would be stranded where I live now. I know the most about this area. :p

Id have to say Walmart... :D

For real though, id say right where i live in North Alabama. Im just so used to the climate and everything. The woods here are like a second home to me. Plus, with all these cedars and pine, its impossible not to make a fire!

While I know the area where I live well, I also know that the winters tend to be long and cold, I would migrate south where it is warmer and a better food supply.

It may take me months to escape her house....

I would have to say our area as pit mentioned The Pacific Northwest.

A few years ago some of our other provinces were refusing welfare to certain elements of society but graciously offering a one way bus ticket to Vancouver. They would tell them its lot easier to be homeless without snow, lots of jobs in BC ........ eventually they got caught with Alberta and Ontarios being the worst offenders.
Our hospitable environment does attract a high number of permanent hoboes, good indicator for ease of survival.
