Wheres my "buttery smoothness" ???

I just polished the washers of my umnum just on the one side using 2400, 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000, 10000 and 12000 grit wet sandpaper, to a mirror polish, same with my large sebenza 21 but much more precise so I didn't remove more than .02 of an inch so it wouldn't develop blade play, and my sebenza is so smooth it feels like it's riding on air lol never felt a smoother knife even bearing pivots. The umnum is very smooth too and swings freely but with the pivot bushing system being nonexistent it could still be smoother.
