Where's the love for the 0301?

I just got a user yesterday. Blade coating is perfect! The lock face has been carbidized already. I cleaned her well and she looks and works great.
It's missing the pocket clip though. I've sent ZT an email and I hope I have a clip soon.

There is love, of a type(my 0200 is looking at me in a strange manner though)

I found mine on a deep discount sale. Now that I have one, a second is on my list, even if I have to pay full price. They are that good.

Went hiking to an abandoned coal mining town. The 0301 and 0121 go well as a pair. My hiking buddy/Dad liked my taste in knives so he followed suite. He picked up his 0121 a few days go, serial number 3001... lucky.

OMG Im so jealous! :eek: Those are SWEET! :D I ordered a ZT 303 from Dave a short while back and it is my FAVORITE knife! Now I just want to buy duplicates of the knives I love (ZT 303, ZT 350SW) so I can stash them away.

The 0350SW is a nice looking knife, I really like those. Good choice with the 0303, I like mine.
 
I stopped carrying mine and use the 0560 more. Which kicked the M390 Military out of my pocket as well.
 
Thank you! I had a couple of DLC 350s, but I dont really like coated blades, so when I found out that the SW model just came out I jumped on it. It was my first knife that I paid more than $40 for. :eek: But it was also my favorite knife, so I decided that I needed its big brother. The 303 looks and feels amazing. In fact the feel of the 350 is what I really loved most, it just feels like it was made to fit my hand, and the 303 feels even better! But the looks of the 303 are what originally got me hooked. I saw the 302 on NCIS and LOVED it, but when I saw the price tag I knew I would never pay that much for it... :eek: So when I found out that there was a 'mini' version I had to have it... Then I realized that I had to have the 303... Now I realize that I need a couple more of each...:D:D:D And I also realize that I need a ZT 121, or two... or three... LOL

That is the problem with these things, you think you just need one more knife...

I like my 0121, Kershawguy has a good price for them and he has some blems I think,
 
Thanks for the tip! I probably wont buy one right away, at least not until we're past the holidays. But after the holidays I think Ill probably hunt one down, and if I like it, then maybe Ill hunt down another one. :D I looked on Daves site, but couldnt find one. :confused: But like I said, Im in no hurry, yet.

How do you like the size and feel of the 121?

I actually had a Custom Hunting Knife made for me by a member here, and my design was inspired by the ZT 121 and John Barkers Dew Claw. Its a little bigger than the 121 and the Dew Claw, but it has a nice balance and feel to it. Heres a pic.

Nice looking knife, maybe you dont need a 0121.

I like it, beefy, but not too heavy (I may not be the best judge of weight), the sheath works well, attaches to molle, and to packs easily or a belt. Ill post some pics of the two side by side.

Thank you for the compliment and info. CrimsonFalcon made that knife for me in about a month. He did a great job. And hes a great person to work with. It was my first, and so far only, Custom so I had alot of questions and didnt really know much about what I needed.. but he helped me out ALOT and made the knife I wanted. My only regret is that I STILL havent had a chance to take a short camping/hiking trip to put that blade to use. :(

Im not great about referencing weight either, to me the 303 is perfect. Not heavy, but not too light either. I usually carry my 303 with my Griptilian, I just feel its a good balance, the ZT is heavier and has a wider edge that can take tougher jobs, and the Grip is extremely light and razor sharp for when I need precision cutting. The Custom that I posted is the only knife I have that I would consider a bit hefty. I feel that one pull on my belt when I wear it. I wear the ZT and Grip with basketball shorts and dont notice them... :confused: I guess its because Ive always only been attracted to big beefy knives, so Im used to it.

Those pics would be awesome, two of my favorite knives. Just curious, but have you ever thought about adding the details to the handle on your 121 to match your 301?
 
Ive always liked bigger knives too.

I actually have not thought of making my 0121 scales match my 0301, maybe I should.
