Pinned construction ultimately turned me off...and a price similar to the bd30 Manix, I wouldn't necessarily call keeping the cost down..just my $.02
..atleast the one dealer that has them available now are priced that way
Yep, and the dealer who has the blue FRCP Manix 2 for $120 charges full MSRP for everything and has the BD30 one listed for $175. That's their right, but if someone is going to compare "street" prices of two or more knives, the only fair way to do it is to compare them from the same dealer.I believe MSRP is $120 for the blue FRCP. Street price among internet vendors would figure to be, say, $80 or little less. The BD30 versions went for around $130 after an MSRP of $175. Based on that I'd say a vendor charging $130 for the FRCP would be at a serious disadvantage with their pricing.Pinned construction ultimately turned me off...and a price similar to the bd30 Manix, I wouldn't necessarily call keeping the cost down..just my $.02

If I was 13 again, I'm sure I'd be excited over the idea, but I'm too much of an old fart to have any love for transparent plastic handles.
