Sent me a reply to a letter last night a little after 11:15 AM Pacific time, Sunday morning, but hasn't logged onto the forum.

Oh well, we can always talk about him and set his ears to burning.

Had a guy over today to do some repair work on the Titanic and I've been tied up all day playing gofer. And when I tried to log onto the net via DSL this AM before the guy arrived DSL was not working. Called them and they said Reno DSL had a glitch that would take about 4 hours to get fixed.
Obviously, they got it fixed sometime today.

Yeah, I just heard that a bunch of staff just transferred over from the V.A. to St. Mary's cause they heard you were coming!

St. Mary's with an influx of VA personel -- that's the best of two worlds, Rusty, if you're a masochist or have a strong death wish.

My surgeon assured me I didn't have to go back.

And that was before I told him the knife hanging from my neck was a castrating knife.

He's the guy I told to take a khukuri after the next administrator who tried to cancel an Operating Room or swipe his anaesthesiologist. He asked what good that would do, and I told him he'd get a "reputation" real quick.
