Whew Going into withdrawls

Glad the forums are back up :D

Been working my butt off at home is about the ONLY good thing about an outage around here..
 
Man, I was going crazy! Too much time on my hands, and no Bladeforums is not a good thing.
 
Boy am I glad it's back up. I was getting emails from people who wanted to get some rope....it wasn't for a cutting contest either.
 
Wow....the shakes are starting to go away now....relaxing, breathing normally....its not really gone.....its not really gone :rolleyes:


I love this place! I started looking at other forums just to fill time and there's been more activity in the last 5 minutes than those other places had all day! :D

Man you don't realize how much you miss something until it's gone sometimes! Although I haven't been posting much lately I've still been visiting and reading posts several times a day. I've been going through withdrawals!!! :eek:

I'm with you guys, I was going buggy trying to get on, the other forums are nice, but I realy love shop talk.
 
You think you guys were going through withdrawls, I thought it was my computer 'cause it's always giving me problems when I'm online. When they finally posted a bulletin about it I was about to go buy a new computer! Gotta have these forums!
 
The outage made me get out in the shop and start my first folders, but I missed you guys. Shop Talk has certainly become my main focus here on BFC.

Hope all had a good Turkey day and a nice long wekend.

I'm with everybody else. It's like not getting my daily fix. :D I was getting more done without BF but it's not the same not having it to check a couple times a day. Glad to be back.

Whew! You guys are right, there's no place like Shop Talk. I visit other maker's forums too and get good value from them, but this is "home." First thing I did when it didn't come up the other day is write one of my buddies from here to make sure it wasn't my own machine; totally unlikely but it is getting old.

May I suggest, go ahead and buy a new computer! ;) And when you do, buy a Mac. I've had this thing so long it's starting to oxidize but it still works like a champ - I'm looking for an excuse to get a new one myself but this damn thing just won't die! It's never crashed, I've never had a virus scare and 10 minutes after I cut open the box I was online. Everything worked first time and it always has. It cost a few dollars more up front but everyone I know who's running Windose has bought a couple of replacements and had multiple virus/hard drive problems while I've been running the same machine. I've spent less over the years on my computer than anyone I know. And because I'm so cheap, that's a good thing! :D
 
The other sites just aren't the same!! Thats for sure...Glad to see you guys again. Even Mark!! :p

We need to come up with a place to all meet up when this happens. I guess we could all invade the "outpost" over on CKD. It's funny to think about saying "Over there" I even look to the the left when I think about it.

I stopped by USN and CDK some but nothin beats this place.....

Yep: I was there at the Outpost. But it was lonely. :)

Yeah...some of those people are scary, forging during full moon cycles, singing and dancing around the forge by candle or forge light, quenching when the wolf howls.
