Which are the most heavy duty 3.25" - 3.5" blade folders?

A CRKT M21 held up fine for me for 8 years before i lost it. Now i carry a Spyderco Endura 4 and a Ranger RD-6 daily so relying on a folder for beating on is a no-issue for me.

If you can find one a Benchmade 615 Mini Rukus might be right up your alley. :D

Update:

I purchased a Cold Steel G-10 Espada Medium. I haven't received it yet, but it looks awesome from the videos and pictures of it I have seen online.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I appreciate it.

I would say Grayman Knives all the way!!!

This! Just picked a Dua, great knife and much closer to earth in price range for what you get.

Oop, see you already bought one. Good luck with the cs. Keep the grayman in mind if you eventually try something different ive been pleasantly surprised.

ZT's are nice, but a bit thick in some models. I just bought an Emerson CQC-7 for about $175, which is a knife made famous by our Navy Seals, SIS, etc. Emerson did license the CQC-7 design to Benchmade for a number of yrs, and then when the contract ran out, Emerson has resumed making this outstanding knife in his factory in California. One of these Emerson knives was carried by Seal Team Six leader Marchinko, and the knife "appeared" in many of his books, if this tells you anything. Emerson has lots of different models. Take a look at this website; link follows:

There is a ginormous difference in quality between the custom and production models. I've owned a few Emerson production knives and I was never happy with them. The only Emerson model I still have is a Benchmade 970 that I sent off to be rescaled and reground. In my opinion there are better knives out there for the price. I would say that Sypderco is on par and even surpasses a lot of what Emerson does. The only reason I would suggest Emerson to someone is if they wanted a left handed chisel ground blade on a right handed folder. I never understood why the grind is on the wrong side of Emersons. I know that some folks are happy with their Emersons, but I would definitely recommend handling one before you go all in.
