Never had a BK2 yet, but have one on the way now. Never heard of the BK6 but I did have the BK9 and do have the BK7 which I love. For my uses I do expect the BK2 to become my favorite though. I was sitting tonight and writing down the tests I plan to put it through, should be fun.

i smell democratic –manipulation in this poll. I vote BK7 and BK7 again!!! Personally I never liked the thick beltknife aka bk2 and the anorectic chopper called the 9. So my third vote, if that is possible, will be the Brute...love its looks, if its produced again send me one!
the BK9 is not that anorexic...
Camillus era......compare to.....Camillus era
I think you try to say the top one is Kabar era. Althouth the webpage gives different info. Correct me if im wrong.
btw the video from the link is removed
Would like to see a pic of the era's side to side. comparing the pics on kabar.com and the forum does give some design differences but is doesnt really work out.
If the design is different the blade CAN be thinner so it remains its strength. But I need prove.....PICS!!!

One more question. Which will be the better chopper between the patrol machete and the BK 9?

Oh, that Potbelly is the bees knees. I am gettin' one soon, as in before Christmas, and I plan to do a very, very thorough test of that fella. The grip and the different grips available because of the design, intrigue me, as, the specs say Chop-o-matic, but if you change the grip to choke up on the blade, it looks to balance well for more control. Made in the USA, and a Kabar product, if it only was made by Becker it would be perfect, alas, I will have to settle for pure BA knive. LOL
