Which becker should I buy?

So what you guys are sayin is I should get both which I plan to do. I just can't afford to get them both at the same time. Is there reason why one would pay extra for an old becker other than just to say I have an out of production becker? Some of the models that wont be reproduced by kabar would be nice but why a nearly identical camillus bk9?

i'm saying buy them all :)

old vs new...

some people who are "used to" the older ones might prefer that. they're very good, good heat treat, all that.

however, there's everything right about buying a brand new ka-bar model, for a VERY satisfying price.

someone is selling a beloved MachAx on epray, and well, $200 for a Camillus model is a might ... well, how do i put this? if you HAVE to have one, RIGHT NOW, and you can't wait a few weeks or months for another to come around... okay, it's still too much :) and this is me saying that ;)

so, if price is your guide, buy the kaybar version. also you get the free BK13 mini neck knife if you get lucky and buy from the right folx that still have them ;)

Ya I saw that Machax but the opening bid is only 100 and not one nible yet. The BIN is set at 200. I'm gonna keep holdin out for a Brute or patrol. In fact I'm going becker hunting today. I only recently discovered the becker line and it just isn't right that I don't have one yet. I hope I can fix that by the end of the day, I'll be making the rounds of the local stores. Thanks to everyone for the input.

I have two camillus BK7 and a camillus limited edition tan BK9,and a BK11
Iv'e been using one of the BK7s and the BK11 for about 4 years great
knives.I just recived the new BK9 friday night.I would say the reason some one would pay the extra for the old beckers it's what there used to it or
the collection value. for the price that the old ones are going for you could buy two new ones.get a new BK9 you'll love it! I would love if ka-bar would put out the brute.and my safe queens BK7 & BK9 are up for sale.I would use the cash to buy more new ones.:D

please be honest which production of the BK9 do you like better?
I hope you don't say it's like choosing between chilrden.
