I ended up buying the king. I'm hoping its performance puts my mind at ease over dropping a day's wages on a production knife. What is the general consensus on the stock sheath?

Well,stock sheath is nothing special,it serve it purpose, to hold the blade and protect you.
If you want something better,you will have to spend a little more on custom ones. Nothing strange about it,many expensive knife come with just a basic sheath. You got a excelent knife for more than resonable price. If sheath was more complex,you will have to pay much more. This way you have a choice,stay with stock one or spend more to custom one.

Im looking to get a good, bulletproof, chopper to pair with my bushcraft knife. Beckers seem to fit the bill, but I can't tell if Ima need the 2, 7, or 9.
any suggestions are welcomed.
