Which Benchmade 940 Model?

I would think any knife in the 940 family would be stellar. Great design and execution.

I have had most of the handles and blades in the 940/43 series. I prefer the 943 blade shape but can only get S30V blades. Hello, is anybody home? Have you heard of S60, S90, S110, and S125? I have unloaded most of my Benchmade 940/943 models. Some of the other major knife companies seem to be stuck at the S30 level. Don't wait for my business.

This has already been addressed by Jimmy from Benchmade in their subforum. Here ya go:
...the main reason we haven't done another 943 variant comes down to volume. The 940 sells nearly 5x what the 943 moves so it just hasn't been a priority.

Money makes the world go round.

I have not narrowed down which model yet, but I don't have the money for the 940-1

The 940-1 is the only 940 I own and I got it here for $215 earlier this month. Since then, I have seen them for sale here for $210, $200, $195 and even $190 most recently.

I would suggest getting the 940-1 here at a huge discount from $267, but I'm scratching my head at why everyone is so eager to sell their LNIB CF s90v 940s?

He's DEFINITELY yanking your leg hard Luke!!!!
Can you imagine how super sick a version like that would be???
Damn!!!
Joe

I just bought my 940-1 for a bit over 200 plus PP fees. I've wanted to try a slim blade in S90V for a long time, and now I will. I have not always been enamored with BenchMade, but here is their chance to change my opinion.
