Hey KY!! The knife is a beast!! Feels amazing in hand! Excellent action! And it is flat out sexy!!
I EDC it, but don't beat the shit out of it. That blade steel takes a super sick edge too!!

The artist formerly known as Steve Ketchen, forgive me.....just heard Purple Rain, did them!
Tough to tell, but I love the texture of that ctek! It isn't rough, but isn't smooth either. Feels awesome!
Steve is a pleasure to deal with too.
He did a few for me and have been thrilled with his work and the way he does business.

Just put these DOAT CF skins on my 707 Sequel yesterday. I've had the knife for a couple months but never carried it 'til now. This little sucker was wicked sharp out of the box. I nicked myself twice on the change-out and just touched the edge today and sprung a leak. :grumpy:

I don't know but I have wondered if the blade could be tumbled for a stone wash finish. Would that work? What would it do to the logo and other lettering? Of course it would have to be sharped but will it chip the edge?

I have my Benchmade 940-1 in my shirt pocket, with a deep carry pocket clip. It never ends out in a pants pocket; that is where the heavy duty knives go.
