Which Benchmade are you carrying today?

It's on its second blade now. Used and abused it so much even the g10 started to smoothen out haha. Some nasty chips and reprofiling took too much blade off over time but Benchmade was a champ in replacing it. Took a month to get it back to the Netherlands and now I stick to a relatively low grind, polish that up and microbevel it and the last few months I've had no issues at all.
The 940 is best at medium hard duty at most imo and that's just fine. Not working at a place that requires hard use anymore and other knives do it better but in overall balance between weight, durability and utility I have come to love and trust this lil rascal to no end.

Actually, the normal 940s fit my bill excellently (my green aluminum 940 is my high grind slicer) and my 940-1 has been neglected over the months and these anthems look great. Thinking about switching it out for one (m390/20cv are better balanced in edc imo). Gonna explore this option, and to the above poster; how's the anthem working out for you?

710 today.
Nice blue one with M390.
Strange thing, not the knife, . . .
the pivot. It is strange today because, like my Ouroboros of last week, the pivot has now, seemingly settled down and swings free consistently. It was binding slightly and not dropping since I got it.
It cut up my apple earlier.
I like this knife.
hold on . . . I just checked it again and it swung shut just fine again.
Unheard of for this thing (unless I keep it in the refrigerator ((long story))).
So . . . I'm happy ! I don't trust it to last but . . . hey . . .  :D
