That is specifically what I was wondering, too. Had forgotten the Presidio series had steel liners. The only one I have is one of the first runs, the... 500? Aluminum scales OVER steel liners. DEFINITELY overbuilt, there.
 
I picked one of these up from River’s Edge (I’m local to them now, again), and man I’m impressed. This is everything the Bugout to me wasn’t. I hope Benchmade continues with designs like this one. I’m honestly even impressed with the tanto style they used.
