Which Benchmade are you carrying today?

These two arrived in the post this morning. Users both, boxes have already been thrown away. The M4, whilst sharp-ish out the box, got a quick 20 degree micro bevel, an old style parkerized clip and went straight into the pocket. I suspect that these M4 and the S90V Bugouts are going to dominate my rotation for a while. Centering on both is very good, action a bit stiff but will wear in and the bevels on the M4 version aren't great but I'll be re-profiling them both anyway over the Easter weekend.

SMKW exclusive vs the stock GRY-1. I'm really surprised that the M4 and G10 isn't making bigger waves (but maybe I'm just not concentrating). The M2 and M4 Ritter Grips were (are) the most sought after versions of a great knife ... this is giving you thin stock M4 in a great platform for quite a lot less than a custom shop M4 Bugout ... but, I suppose, for the Instagram knife owners it just looks indistinguishable from the cheaper, common garden variety GRY-1

Two new ones in the mail today and one more set to be delivered in the next hour (535-3 Carbon Fiber/S90V Bugout).

Decisions, decisions!

I really like that mini grip! Was that a new custom from someplace or from an individual?

Thanks

I ordered an M4 Mini Grip form the custom shop and didn't like the Cerakote coating it came with so I sent it to Marcus at Way of Knife to for an acid stonewash. The scales and titanium hardware came from Igorded out of Russia.

Thanks! I figured they were from him. Looks great!

That blue backspacer looks so much like a Tamiya hop-up part ... then again, the carbon reminds me slightly of Tamiya's hop-up shock towers too.

Nice TT-02 psquared. I think I like your bugout with the stainless thumb studs more.
