What’s that second model? I’ve never seen it before, but I seriously like it.

like he said, an auto rift. they were discontinued a year or two before the manual version was. my son has a 950 & while it’s a great knife, i prefer the blade shape of the 9555 more. can’t go wrong either way tho

I've had one of the manual 950s for about 15 years. Yep. Great knife.

I didn't go with the cerakote. I went with the Type 3 anodized. So far so good. Some minor marks from hitting something in my pocket but no wear marks really. Highly recommend AWT.

Im definitely getting a set. Kind of want the Archeon’s but i would prefer anodized. I cannot stand these stock grip scales

Lol yea it did. My mistake not taping the blade up. But its going to be a working knife and i can always acid wash it.

I would not worry the least bit. Working knives are the best knives. I thought your concept there is rather interesting

I did mirror polish both edges though
I found the m4 and cruwear surprising difficult to sharpen, honestly
I've been working as a cook for the past while, and I got used to the ease of sharpening on my kitchen wear
