+1 on that. RAT RC-3 all the way!...but for Benchmade folders I'd say either the ritter griptillian or the rukus. Depends on what kind of camping you're doing!

Which benchmade knife for camping, axis lock please

An Axis Lock folding Benchmade is perfectly suited to the tasks that Tuffblade has quoted.
I always take an Axis Lock folder when I go camping and generally use it rather than my fixed blade.
That said, buy a fixed blade too

Definitely get a fixed blade as a primary knife and a folder as a backup - those are your minimum knife needs
