Which between these two...

WITHOUT taking sharpening difficulty into account (because I can sharpen recurves just fine), which would you choose and why???

Mini Uncle Mojo. I have one and I love it. It is ground thin enough to be an excellent slicer AND it chops very well. I recently did sone chopping with it and was very happy with the way it performed and it did not slip in my hand at all due to the excellent ergos. I keep it in a Spec Ops sheath with a Leatherman Wave in the front pouch and it makes an excellent combo. The M6 is very nice also, but it is not as good of a chopper IMHO.
 
Mini Uncle Mojo and a Spec Ops sheath? That's funny because that was actually the exact setup I was thinking about. Great minds think alike. ;)
 
I have it in the smaller length "combat master" sheath in ACU the ACU matches the MUM excellently. ;)
 
As long as you like recurves and sharpening is not an issue I would go with the Mojo as the M6 is on the heavy side for the blade that you get.
