Which brand do you own the most of?

Funny, I had not thought about it. I have about 30 brands, but mostly for each one is 1 - 2 representative. But there are some leaders Spyderco - 13, Victorinox - 10 and Cold Steel - 8.

I dunno...

This thread just made me realize i have about seven different brands with 2 knives from each. Creepy

Probably Victorinox, followed by SOG (from previous interest), then Great Eastern (GEC), then Dozier.

Three-way tie between Becker, Schrade (all but one are older usa-made schrade) and Cold Steel, followed by Victorinox, Kershaw, Buck, CRKT and Spyderco and 1 or two each of some of the others.

Very very interesting results. Not what I anticipated at all!

I figured the high performance/cost knives like Mora, Opinel, and Victorinox would dominate the field by sheer numbers.

Looks like it's brands like Spyderco and Benchmade really pulling the big numbers. Even significant numbers of Busse, CRK and other big dollar knives, which really surprised me. I mean, I figured many members have them because we all have the sickness and can justify $400 on a knife. But didn't realize people were building up numerous knives in that price range.

I'm glad I posted this. Really opened up my eyes. The next time wifey tell me I spend a lot on knives I'll refer her to this thread and show her that you bunch are a whole lot crazier than I am!

Come to think of it, I have a fair number of Schrade USA blades (6-8), but less than Victorinox. Never really count any of them. In the gun forums, a common question is "how much ammunition do you keep in your cache? Or how many guns do you own?" My answer is always I really don't know and I never inventory just for the sake of knowing.

I have quiite a few that number in the 6-8 area brand wise. But Victorinox is the highest and most used.

You can try Ben, but I'm here to tell you she'll still kick your butt bro!! She won't buy it for a second!!
And DO NOT bring up the shoe argument!! I pointed out the fact we need 2 more houses to store her shoes.....woke up 2 days later in the hospital with a wicked headache!!!
