which Buck to scrap gaskets.

For the mechanics out there.Which Buck do you use
to scrap gaskets with and what steel?:confused:

How about using a gasket scraper? That's what I use. I don't want to use a good knife and ruin a blade when they make a tool just to scrape gaskets.

Yes that would be the right thing to use.But................A lot of
the people that I know that work on car's and bike's use there edc knife
to cut everything.When the are working.

I use a gasket scraper or a POS pakistani knife that I keep in the tool box. I don't use a good knife just in case it gouges an aluminum part. the pakistani blade with it's crappy rolled edge is really only useful for this type of task.

i liked the older 440 !!!!
sturdy sturdy edge!!!
lots O meat on that edge to prevent damage
the thiner 2K edge is easer for the amtures to sharp
but i am old school ... not one a one room one mind ya:p

yea i like the old one with full bade
wish could still get a full blade:(
