Which Busse EDC and Why?

I've carried and used a couple thin .140 GWs as my main EDCs for several years now, also a couple Cultis that I occasionally use for casual food prep and woodcraft, and I now have a couple SAR-3s I'm trying out. I'm having a hard time trying to pick which of these three would be the best all-around EDC. What's are your opinions and why/which features do you favor? Your comments are much appreciated. (For reference, I carry a small Busse in my pocket every day around the office, at home in the kitchen, in the garden, some woodwork and carving, driving around town, walking around the neighborhood, and on local day hikes.)
Thanks!

Why limit yourself if you don't need to? Just rotate them every so often and enjoy the variety.

I've been rotating between the 3 you mentioned.

The GWs getting less time, mostly between the WH Culti and the SAR3 (BP :D) now.

My criteria now is whether or not I expect any prying. I wouldn't risk tweaking the Culti, but the SAR3 is pretty stout, all the way to the tip. The Culti seems a bit more sheeple friendly, I've had folks refer to the SRA3 as a 'big knife"

I've bent a .140 GW . Oh, the huge matinee ;)

+ Colorado has a 3.5" limit

I would vote Game Warden! Versatile, small, but very stout for such a little knife. Definitely my favorite for fishing trips due to its compact size. Once in a blue moon, other generous Hogs let them go for cost here on the exchange...which is always nice :)

Well, if the cops are going to be a problem, just EDC a MOAB =)

Go big or go home. Try a Gladius, AK, or a Dragon's Fang. :D

I EDC a SAR 3. It's a tad big for the pocket bit is still nicely concealable.

I have a rotation as well. :)

Assault Shaker

Skelly Warden

Heavy Duty

occasionally a Meaner gets thrown in the mix, but it tends to look dangerous to people. :o

Absent of a folder the Game Warden is the only Busse you can expect to carry without attracting attention. Well unless you are a very very big person and hide an SHBM in your skin folds.... like Cobalt did.

I forgot the Active Duty - I have a coated OD and green linen AD that I carry along with a SAK in my flight suit leg pocket when flying missions - but day-to-day it seems too big and too tactical for my civilian world - I agree with Tony G. about the GW gets by without much notice from the general population - and I carry a PC Cultellus in my office bag for cutting up apples, saugage, and cheese - it's almost become an daily office ritual and most accept the Culti as a "really good paring/kitchen knife." For those who advise me to "go big or go home", I have a FBM in the trunk and a BOSS Street in the glove box to get me there.
Back to the original question, I'm having a little trouble getting used to using the SAR-3; does anyone out there see any advantages in the SAR-3 over the GW or Culti and if so, what? Thanks again for your comments.
Cheers,

Bill, you asked for thoughts on the SAR 3, so here we go. Have you sanded the sharp ridges of the handles yet? That makes a night and day difference in the overall experience that is the SAR 3 as handle comfort can make or break the enjoyment of the knife. The as-shipped sharp ridges are too sharp and the only real down side to the knife's design. Thankfully it is very easily remedied with about 5 minutes of effort and some 180-220 grit sandpaper. A good sharpening doesn't hurt either as both of mine came a little on the dull side for a factory edge. I think mine were done around beer thirty as the handles were sharper than the edge so when I first held it, I thought I had the wrong end.

My experience: SAR 3 = .17 GW with the perfect edc thickness and bigger grips for the extra large handed folks. You aren't going to break/bend it with the .16 full convex grind very easily. I have pried quite a bit with the SAR 3 and it has impressed me with what it can take. With the meltdown treatment and lightly sanded handles there is only one sharp place on the knife, the edge. Culti's are great as slicers, as are BAD's, but I expect an EDC to be able to handle anything I throw at it if it is the only tool I am going to have on me any given moment. I like the stoutness of the thicker over .14 GW's (the one I kept is .22) but the whole 3 finger grip thing can make it harder to control and it gets used much less as a result.

Pretty much I carry a SAR 3 daily, with a BAD being the once or twice a week replacement. The GW and culti rarely make it out of the house. The only meaner I had (a stripped muddy meaner with the beak removed to be an AD style handle) was gifted to my new brother-in-law who is in the Air Force and he loves it. Good luck with finding your perfect fit!

The Busse Folder! I mean the one with the gate hinge.

I'm not allowed to carry fixed blades regardless of the size where I live. Although I have concealed a NMFBM before.

My vote, however, would go to the BAD. I'd like to get the Bear Cub Hack, but you really don't see too many of those around. Anyone have experiences EDCing them?

My EDC rotation is Hammered Warden, BAD, MS, High Street, and my Nuclear EDC. More often than not, it's the Warden or the BAD, because the MS and HS try to deflate my spare tire and the flame job, on the Nuclear EDC, raises too many eye brows. If I'm going to the lake, its a SAR 5 or HG-55.
