Which Busses do you buy?

Just curious what people mostly buy and for which actual uses. I am a part-time collector, meaning when I afford it I buy the Busses that speak to me, and which I could see myself putting to use but don't as often as some guys here. I primarily use my knives for, in the order of most used: EDC (~3.5" blade or less), splitting wood, camping, and hiking. The GW is a good EDC size for me, but the Cultellus seemed a touch too long for EDC so I didn't get any, even though I really liked it otherwise. I just didn't see myself using it. So I'm wondering, what is your primary consideration when eyeing a specific blade?

For me it's a combination of Collecting, Camping, Hiking with secondary reasoning at Kitchen Duty and Kool-Aid Drinking.

Some of my blades get used, and some serve as back up in case the users fail (HAHAHHAHA), which we all know will most likely never happen, which I guess turns them into the collecting category...

I wasn't sure how to answer this. I said EDC because I do carry a GW every day. However, if you define primary to mean what drives most of my buying volume and interest it is as a collector.

Oops...also use them hunting and hiking.

Well I had to vote collector since I use only about 10% of the Busse knives that I own. Of the ones I do use thery are either big knives like the FBM and SHBM that I use around the garden and to split wood or they are the size of a BA-III and smaller that I use for camping. Where I camp there isn't much to chop.

Oh and then there is the XXL Nick I use.. a lot!

For me it's EDC and camping/hiking. Out of 5 busses that I have I use 4 (two GW in rotation as EDC knives and one BAtac and one Hell Razor - as rotating camping/hiking knives). The one unused is the second BATAC - which I keep jus in case something bad happened with my first batac. (I love Batacs - what can I say....) And I also use my DC warden in the kitchen - just for pleasure of using it.

Um- all of them? I try to buy at least one of everything that's coming out these days. I have at least one of each model that's come out since I discovered Busse. (more than one of most)

Lately, I seem to be gravitating towards the larger models, but the Cultellus is nice, and so is the Badger, and the wardens....

For use, the knife in my pocket sees the most duty. These days, it's the Cultellus. I love the bigguns, but as a city slicker, I almost never get to use them. However, when the zombies come, I will be ready.
I guess most of my Busses fall into the "collector" category. They're all users, but I don't get to use most of them all that much, sadly.

A big part ofthe reasom I love knives is that I get to use what I collect, hiking,camping, job stuff, and edc blades. I do not think this poll is well structured since we all collect and use.
