  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Which Chris Reeve do you carry the most?

I normally carry a Umnumzaan, unless it’s a wedding, funeral or Sunday morning service, then it’s my Umnumzaan. My work doesn’t care if I carry a knife, so there I carry my Umnumzaan. Unless of course it’s an office party, then I carry my Umnumzaan. HOWEVER, if the occasion arises and I find myself in the mountains of NC rafting and camping, at the beach on a deep sea boat fishing, or shooting skeet in the middle of a field with my boys, I’ll carry my back up Umnumzaan so I won’t loose my EDC Umnumzaan. That would be horrible.

Been carrying these two most frequently. :D

Small LE with Inner Mammoth Ivory. For life.

I'd take a picture, but it is always being used and never stands still.

Hi Tom -

The only CRK I have, this beautiful Bloodwood Small Sebenza 21 -

I was skeptical at the following of these knives, and I was a little put-off by Mr. Reeve's comments on this forum regarding people who "flick" the knives, but I can see why people really like these knives. It is a very high quality, obviously very well made knife.

I am glad I took the plunge! The bloodwood 21 is my "dress up" knife, and although I actually bought it, it represents my 20th wedding anniversary gift from my wife.

best regards -

mqqn - Love the bloodwood! That is the same insert as my Mnandi. Looks great and holds up well.

I carry the Umnumzaan the most by a long shot, I also carry an ebony Mnandi and a one piece skinner when the occasion presents its self. The rest of my CRKs are sadly neglected these days. :foot:

This Large Regular BG42 goes with me everywhere rain or shine.

Double silver lugged and swedged is the only way to go in my book.

That's a nice one, it makes me think of the "always look on the bright side of life" song. :p:thumbup:

lol... that actually is good advice.

And now that whistle-tune is stuck in my head on rewind. Thanks Haze.

It really is great to see some of these knives with some scuffs and wear from being used. My two Classics have the typical marks on the handles since they have been carried over the last 5 years. One day I'll send them in for a spa treatment but I'm not so sure simply because I love that worn-in look they pick up. My large does still have the clip but my small Sebenza bangs around in my pocket and looks great!

Have several in rotation, but a Large Classic with Madagascar Rosewood inlays sees the most carry time. . . .for now.
