Which Cold Steel folder has the strongest Tri-Ad Lock

CTS-XHP steel...
I read that it is comparable with D2 but more corrosion resistant.
Is it more brittle than AUS8?

STR, I wholly agree with you :-).
And the mini AK-47 is a great little knife.

The weight is definitely not an unimportant feature.Given the fact these are pocket knives.

But thinking about the Code4.
I have held that one once. Though beautifuly made, it felt rather slick and thin.
Thinking about that, the Mackinac and Lone Hunter might not have that grippy feeling either..

I think I stick to the rough G10 grip.Which gives me a tight grip.
Though the grip on the grivory/zytel of my Voyager isn't too bad either .

I sanded the grips on my Mack and melted some small divots in with a soldering iron. It has lost that slippery feeling now.

Good to hear that.
I haven't got a Mack,so far I think I'll stick to the G10 and Grivory grips.
Those suit me fine.

I find it interesting that so many knife enthusiasts secretly have these and others like the Lawman series and don't talk much about it on forums because they secretly also wish it was on other brands using this lock!

:D

CS does seem to be a lot of people's dirty little secret. Everyone knows, but most don't talk about it, haha.

I never had a problem with the Cold Steel company.
Aside from their nice products, they also make very entertaining videos.
Showing what their products are capable of.
Nice.
