Which cowboy boots?

Red Wing makes a great pull-on boot, great leather and comfort. Just watch out, they are now making cheaper lines.
The Worx ones? I ordered some of these a couple of months ago, tried them on and didn't like them. I spent the extra money for the regular line.

Justins. I get rid of the slick soles and have a cobbler slap on full lug Vibram soles. Great for motorcycle riding and really wicked for lowline kicks.

Depends on what you are using them for. I have had excellent luck with Ariat brand for a work boot and Olathe for a riding boot. I have owned a few pairs of Justins, in work , roper, and traditional cowboy style, and are less than impressed with their lifespan. If you want to wear your boots every now and then to the bar or whatnot, then it really does not matter what brand you get. If you are planning on everyday use boots, be it for work or around town, take a look at the Ariat Cobalt. Extremely comfortable and durable. If you are looking for a riding boot (that looks really kick a$$), look at yhe Olathe. Mine are 8 years old, have seen a lot of hard use, and are begging for more. Happy trails.

Just for your information..... Tuscon Boots is a very good place to buy boots.

I've learnt quite a bit about boots from him and started to buy custom boots instead of off-the-shelves ones.

If you think that the Tony Lama, Ariat and Justins are comfortable, wait till you slip your feet into a pair of well-made vintage or customs! They are incredible!

Initially, I don't actually believe that Justins and Dan Post are using plastics and cardboard in their boots. Then, when I broke apart 2 of my worn out pairs... Man! They don't even use the lemon wood pegs! Those are just imprints on the leather. To top it off, plastic pieces are used for shanks and hollow heels filled with cardboard too!

They just don't make boots like they used to...

Since I look for the best in my knives, I might as well aim for the same standards in my other hobby - western boots!

Yes, you made a wise choice. What did you notice the big difference was from the Worx to the original?

Can yall recomend a decent set of work boots that are oil resistant? I like the fact that most of these are made in the USA, and could use something beside sneakers in the garage especially if they have steel toes!
