DEK= Damn Excellent Knife!!!

I’ve been beating on this thing since the day it came. Strop it once a week and still a razor. I haven’t even broken down and bought a new strop and shmoo yet, just an old 3x13 hunk of leather loaded with Flitz.

Not the prettiest edge, but it sliced paper when I got it, so just went with it. She’ll get a perfect pretty edge when (if) it ever gets dull.

This D3V is unbelievable! Nathan is a genius!

Edit: ‘just to clarify, ‘bought it used so don’t want anyone thinking I meant “not the prettiest edge,” was from CPK

From all the pictures, it seems like about all that your domestic bears do is eat and sleep lol. Ahh the life of a spoiled dog, that would be amazing!

Hopefully the pups are loving the new place! How do they like the cold and snow so far?

They ever get to size up any game animals yet?

I usually take my knife photos early in the morning, that's breakfast and 2nd nap time .... It's getting warmer now. The Italian doesn't like the snow much, the Rotti loves it.

No game animals either for them, nor for me. I'll start in fall this year myself .... remember, I didn't grow up in the US.

Pretty cool to see both dogs eating side by side at the same time. Not a lot can do that without issues. My boys do it too though, I have a food and water combo bowl that is a food & food bowl and they eat shoulder to shoulder with zero issues, They’ll even dip into each others bowl and is all good lol.

Seems like they’ve got quite the life there! Congrats to you and them!

Hey Nathan the Machinist and Lorien , I guess y’all named the original EDC that for a reason. I carried the brand new EDC 1.2 today and she rode and performed like a dream.

CPK Mark ‘s grinds are phenomenal, surely Bennie Boo worked his ass off on the pre-order, and Jo the Machinist is always the most badassededest of all y’all. The new ECAM ain’t bad either and it’s scary sharp.

I’ve owned all four versions of the EDC. This one takes the cake, for me.
