Man I really want to get my hands on a HDFK. Thing looks like an absolute beast!

I highly recommend one if you get the opportunity. Big enough without being unwieldy with fantastic weight distribution. Easy on the eyes to boot.

Had mine out this weekend to touch up the edge.

The sdfk is pretty awesome. It's my all time favorite, but I've never used an HDFK.

Oh yeah if I get the chance to pick one up at a “reasonable” price I’m definitely going to jump on it!

I don’t doubt that the SDFK is a stouter knife and it’s on my short list as well but there’s just something about the HDFK that really does it for me!

If you get an HDFK, you can skip the basic SDFK (I sold mine) and add only the signature version. HDFK and SSDFK are similar weight and complementary.

Makes me think of the line in the movie The 13th Warrior; “When you die, can I give that to me daughter?”

*** still annoyed that despite having made an HD transfer of this movie many years ago, they STILL haven’t released even a BluRay version in the US (you’d have to get the Euro/German BluRay )
