Nice 15VBBBCarta haha! I thought that didn’t look like the standard Cruwear blade from the Crucarta.

I didn’t use the cruware and it sold yesterday. Tried to slice a thin rice paper and the 15v cut like a laser. Not a knife you want to touch the edge to see how sharp it is.Every time I carry my Millie 2 w/ a DEK 1,2, or 3…..I giggle to myself that it dwarfs them.
How’s that 15v comparing to Cruware ?
Thanks man. I love Cruware and have run it on a bunch of knives. Zero experience w/ 15v.I didn’t use the cruware and it sold yesterday. Tried to slice a thin rice paper and the 15v cut like a laser. Not a knife you want to touch the edge to see how sharp it is.
I've got a pm2 in z wear (basically the same as cruwear) and then a 15v pm2 and millie 2.Thanks man. I love Cruware and have run it on a bunch of knives. Zero experience w/ 15v.
Appreciated my brother ! With the rumored possibility of 15v going away, I was thinking on grabbing some. Perhaps I’ll just buy gun parts.I've got a pm2 in z wear (basically the same as cruwear) and then a 15v pm2 and millie 2.
The 15v holds an edge forever, cruwear isn't in the same league, but the edge doesn't strop back as easily as cruwear. Cruwear bounces back to razor sharp so easily, its one of my favorite qualities about it. I seldom need to sharpen it if I just keep it stropped up.
15v is closer to something like s90v, but way better in my opinion. In my experience, it seems to be tougher than s90v; it doesn't chip in the same situations that s90v would. I prefer sharpening 15v over s90v, it's easier and takes a finer edge, but I don't find either to be too much of a pain with diamond stones.
The one spot s90v beats 15v in my book is corrosion resistance. However, that's the least important quality in most knives I carry because of where I live. If that's something that's a large factor in your blade selection, then s90v might be better for you.
Hope that's helpful.
But….. how else are you supposed to pry that can of stain open?!?!?These should get me through a day of staining and framing deck posts at the crib.
