What purpose does the knob provide? Just curious, I’m sure it has a specific purpose you intend for it

None. Just the additional weight might be helpful - I picked it because it would be a pain to cut into 2 pieces fitting our small stove properly

Thanks. I tried a few different scale options on it back when I first got it, but once the burlap went on, it never came off again. I ended up getting some for my UF as well.
