What type of micarta is the one being used for Deks pre-order?It is salvage material that came from an old Westinghouse switchgear. It appears to be some kind of paper product.
The majority of the micarta being used in the pre-orders is Accurate Acculam made in Yonkers New York. The green is a Norplex Micarta product. The edge cut antique is old surplus that I purchased from a ship builder. It had already been turned into bearing stock so there was no labels, but given the application, the time frame, and its appearance (cotton fiber aged into a gold color and high translucency of the phenolic) compared to known samples, it appears to be Westinghouse but there's no way to know.What type of micarta is the one being used for Deks pre-order?

Is the AECM for the pre-order also paper micarta? Or linen or canvas? According to your reference photo on the pre-order thread, looks different than that on the UF2
